  • I am grateful for the chance to share my experience in the MSMF. This journey has been an eye-opener, primarily due to the diverse friendships I’ve built here.  FAQs

  • Unfortunately, all positions in MSMF are only avaliable for Monash University (Australia) students only.

  • First year students, are highly encouraged to apply.

  • Majority of positions (usually junior positions) are offered on a semesterly basis with an option to extend to th e next semester. For Senior Management and Executive roles, these positions are offered on a 1 year tenure.

  • As a general guideline there is no set hours of work we expect from students (we know how busy it gets when balancing work/socials and uni). That said, the average hours for a junior position are typically within 6-8 hours, with Senior Mangement at 8-12 hours and Executive positions at 16-20 hours.

  • Almost all teams in the Portfolio Department are assigned to a mentor who you have access to ask any questions you have (or even a coffee chat). There are currently no mentors avaliable for the Operations Department.

  • This depends on the position you are applying for, however, as a general rule there are no requirements in unit/ knowledge prerequisites. This also applies for work experience, however, we do actively look out for students who have solid internship experiences.

  • Hybrid, however this heavly depends on your team's arrangement. Majority of events and workshops are held in person.
